“Die Astronautin” – A Science Fiction Story
Jenni also wrote a book, which was published in German. A Science Fiction story about a female astronaut on her way to Mars.
Naomi, a talented Black astronaut, receives the incredible opportunity of a lifetime: to be part of an international team embarking on a historic mission to Mars. This isn’t just about science; it’s a chance to break barriers and represent her community among a predominantly male crew.
As the spacecraft propels through the vastness of space, time seems to blur into an endless expanse. The long journey tests not only their physical endurance but also their mental resilience. Space is confined, and with it, tensions rise.
Time flies on the long journey, and space is cramped. Disagreements must be discussed and conflicts resolved. And the astronauts have needs that are stronger than they anticipated.
Can Naomi stand up to the men in the crew? Will they cope with the challenges of loneliness and the lurking dangers of space? And will Naomi ultimately give in to the astronauts’ urging and satisfy her needs in the weightlessness of the spacecraft?
